Brooke went on her first road trip to Houston. Brandon, Brooke and I went to Houston for Neil’s (One of Brandon’s roommates from college) wedding in the woodlands. Brooke’s dress for the wedding was so cute!!! We had a good time and got to see some of Brandon’s friends from college. The church and the wedding was beautiful. Brooke did great on the road, we only had to stop for her to eat. On Sunday we went to church at Houston First Baptist Church with David and then went to my favorite Mexican restaurant for beef fajitas, Lupe’s. One our way home we went to Arlington to meet up with my friend Brittany for dinner, she lives in D.C. so this was her first time to see/meet Brooke! It was a long but Great weekend!

Christmas came fast this year and it was Brooke’s first one to celebrate. It was so fun to wake up with her and open presents. It was funny to see her face because it was as if she knew it was Christmas. She was wide awake, happy and smiling. It was her feeding time so Brandon and I were concerned that she was going to cry during the entire time we video taped opening presents. But she was great and as happy as can be. That night Brooke went to her first movie (Bedtime Stories), she slept through the whole thing (hahaha). We all had a wonderful Christmas and hope everyone else did as well.

On Christmas Eve we went over to my moms (Nana) house. My mom always has family and friends come over for dinner and to open gifts. Here is a picture of Brooke and Nana and one of our family.

Our baby is already 3 weeks old. Here she is in one of her many Christmas outfits!

Thursday after my 2 week check up appointment, My mom, Melissa, Brooke and I went to North Park Mall to see Santa. They have the best Santa!! We had to wait for 4 and 1/2 hours but it was way worth it! While we waited we just shopped and looked around. In the end we got some really cute pictures of Brooke with Santa!
