I went to the docotr today for my 30 week appointment. As many of you know or may not know I have White Coat Syndrome, which means when I go to the doctor my blood pressure is high. Becasue of this I have to check my blood pressure at home. At home it is always normal so there are no concerns. Today when the nurse took my my blood pressure it was 140/88 which is GREAT for me at the doctor’s office. They had me go into the exam room and lay down on my left side for like 5 minutes. When the doctor came in she re-took my blood pressure and it was 120/76. I was so thrilled, I never can calm myslef down to get an accurate reading at the doctot’s so today was very exciting for me. They just did a tummy check and asked if I had any concerns or questions. I asked how big she is now and they are estimating she is around 3 pounds right now! Yeah!!!! Only 10 more weeks to go, man is it flying by!

Now we can have our baby, or at least we are more ready for her now!!! We finally have a place for her to sleep, not that she is here yet and needs it, but it does make me more comfortable knowing we have a place she can sleep! Our crib stil has NOT come in and that is driving me crazy! We got our pack and play which we put in our bedroom so Brooke can sleep there for the first couple of weeks. It was entertaining watching Brandon put the thing together, more complicated than we both thought. But now that it is together and in our bedroom, Brandon says its not coming down….we shall see. Its really cute, I just love the animals, I hung the best animal (the Giraffe) in the middle! Hopefully the crib will come soon. I am still working on the bumbers so for now I just have the bed skirt and the quilt laying on top of the mattress which is on the floor. I will post pictures of the bedding once it is all completed!

My mom (Helen) wanted mother/daughter pictures while I was pregnant so, Today we met up with Brandon to take some pictures of her and I after work. We went to a park in University Parks, the houses and parks are so pretty over there. One of the pictures Brandon took, I really like. After pictures we ate at P.F. Changs which hit the spot for me!!! Pictures will come soon!!!!

Brooke’s room is coming together and it looks so good! Brandon finished painting and putting together a shelf and dresser. The drawers are already filling up in her dresser, spoiled already by me and my mom (MiMi). All we are waiting on now is the crib. Which seems to be taking forever to come in. I decided to make her bedding myself and have completed the skirt and the quilt. It looks really great and I hope to get strted on the rest of it soon!
