Just wanted to blog about what we have been up to lately since I haven’t blogged since Spring Break. We haven’t been up to anything real exciting, just living life really. Last Wednesday I had some teachers from my school come over to our house for Pokeno night. Brandon grilled us beef fajitas, they were so good. We had a great time. I love hosting events/parties at my house. Other than that, Brandon and I have been getting things done around the house, such as yard work and hanging things in the house. Brooke is doing great, growing so fast!!! This week she has had a runny nose so that’s not fun for her, poor baby. We go to the doctor in Wednesday for her 4 month checkup, i cant wait to see how much she has grown. I will post updates on that sometime after Wednesday.

This week was my spring break so today we went to the Dallas Arboretum. This was Brooke’s first time to the Arboretum but we plan on going many times this year. Because of this, I decided to buy a family pass. This was nice to get because I got all of us in on my pass! We went with Kristen, Cade, Kelly, Haley, Preston, Rachel, Rylie and Britton. We had a great day but it got a bit hot later in the afternoon. I just love this place and can’t wait to go on picnics his summer. Here are some pics of our trip!

Friday Night we stayed the night out in Grapevine for a little get away. On Saturday morning we woke up and went to the Pinball Festival and then went to a Chocolate Festival. These events were so fun, we recommend going. We are going to go again next year. Well, in Downtown Grapevine. Brandon and I love Pinball so we knew going to this festival was going to be hard for us to walk away without a pinball machine. So guess what, we got ourselves a Pinball machine. Which is AWESOME!!!! I have always wanted one so this day is a day I will never forget, lol. This pinball festival is way cool, you pay for a ticket to get in and then you can play all these pinball machines on free play all day. It is amazing, I know….game nerd, but I am ok with admitting that. So then after leaving the pinball festival without a pinball machine we went to the chocolate festival and got samples from all these different chocolate vendors. We filled up on so much chocolate that it became our lunch. Then we made our way back to the pinball festival and bought our new toy, 1994 Demolition Man Pinball Machine! Party at our house!!!!

We went to Waco to watch the Mesquite Skeeters boys basketball team play in the playoffs. On the way there I was feeding Brooke her bottle and she just held onto it on her own. You have to push the bottom up for her because she tends to hold it out straight, but she is holding it all by herself. She is getting so big so fast. So here is a picture of her holding her own bottle with some help from Daddy.

Brooke took a bath and when she got out we put her in her bath robe. It was so cute and I had to take a picture but as you can tell she is NOT happy. She was so tired all she wanted was to lay down and go to sleep but I wanted a picture. I will take another one soon with her happy
