I ran into a program a while back and finally remembered the name of it: Baby Smash. The program is designed to allow a baby to smash down keys on the keyboard and move the mouse and have the computer respond. With each key she hits and movements of the mouse the computer reacts with shapes and letters and sounds. Brooke seems to like it and it’s funny to watch her hit the keys and then watch what happens on screen. I know Dad’s a nerd.

Today we went to the Murr’s to have lunch and hang out. Josh and Brandon went fishing while Rachel, the kids and I hung out. We ended up going over to visit with Rachel’s parents and then going for a swim. Well they did. I didn’t bring my swim suit. When Josh and Brandon got back from fishing they took the kids swimming again. It was so fun to watch them. Brooke defiantly liked swimming with daddy rather than being in the float while mommy held onto it. Yeah for summer and great friends.

We have been trying this for a little while so I thought I would post a picture of Brooke drinking from her sippy cup. Well attempting to at least. The cup has a soft spout so mostly she chews on it and water comes out. But it is so cute so she holds it on her own. She is getting so big so fast, its crazy!!!

Summer is here and Brooke went swimming for the first time. We have a little frog pool so Brandon blew it up and she went swimming. She seemed to really enjoy it, which wasn’t a surprise since she loves taking a both. It has a little water fountain on the front of it and she liked to play in that even though it would splash her in the face. She was so cute in her little swimsuit. I can’t wait to take her swimming in the big pool, so I can swim with her!!!

I ordered a babycook from Bed Bath Beyond only becasue of the 20% coupon I got in the mail. They have failed to get that so today I went to Williams Sonoma and bought one. I am so excited about making my own baby food for Brooke. I already started when I got it home. I have made some carrots and yellow squash. I plan on giving Brooke some squash tomorrow.
