Today we had Brooke’s 1st Birthday Party. The theme was bright colors and sesame street. We had a ton of balloons in our house, which all the kids LOVED. We even had balloons were Elmo sang happy birthday, so cute! Brooke got lots of great gifts and we are so thankful for all of those who joined us in celebrating Brooke’s 1st Birthday!!! She again opened up her presents her self with some help but because there were so many, she did loose some interest. Even though she did loose some interest she did great and ended up opening all of her gifts. Thank you to everyone who made this day such a wonderful memory!!!

Tonight we had our parents and grandpa over for Brooke’s Birthday dinner. I made her her own little cake and she went to town with it. I wasn’t sure how she would be with it since she has never had icing or cake but once she got some in her mouth she loved it!!! She also was interested in opening her gifts. Again since she has never done this I wasn’t sure it would keep her attention. But she surprised us and was interested and able to open her presents. She is so fun to watch and had a great birthday.

A year ago today we were in the hospital waiting for the arrival of our precious little girl. It is so amazing how fast time flies but also how wonderful it is to be blessed and have such a great little girl. Happy Birthday baby girl!!! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!!!
