Sesame Street Live

I found about Sesame Street Live coming to town so I knew we had to take Brooke. She loves Sesame Street and Elmo so I thought this would be a great thing for us to take her to. Brandon was a little worried that she would not sit through the whole thing but decided to give it a shot. We were about to pull into the parking lot and Brooke apparently had so much anticipation and excitement to see Elmo and friends that she threw up. OK, well it wasn’t the excitement it was her getting car sick. This is a problem we are having with Brooke and her big girl car seat. Hopefully the doctor will have some insight on how to help with this. So we turned around went to the nearest gas station got her cleaned up and made it back to the theater just in time for it to start. Brooke did awesome throughout the show and loved seeing all the characters. She stayed in our laps the entire time and enjoyed watching the show. She was so cute dancing, singing and clapping during the show. I love our little girl and we are so blessed that we can take her to these things to enjoy.

Baby Shower Cake

My friend Jeri is a 2nd grade teacher at my school and I had the privilege to make her baby shower cake. The cake is a white cake with Butter cream icing. The cake is decorated like how baby Gracie’s room is being decorated. It turned out well and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Snow Day 2: The Sequel

Well it snowed all day yesterday and well into the early morning. It was incredible how bright it was outside because of all the snow reflecting the light up. We woke up this morning to the most snow either one of us has ever seen in Texas, 10 inches. So we went out and played!
