Baby “Abie”

Our friends the Clickner’s had their second baby on April 26th. We went up to the hospital to visit them on the 27th. Brooke was so excited to see their new baby. She immediately wanted to hold her. Just to make it clear the baby’s name is Avie not Abie. Abie is what Brooke calls her. It was so cute. Here is a picture of Brooke and I holding the beautiful baby Avie, aka Abie.

What a Mess!

So I was cooking dinner and Brandon was sitting on the couch while Brooke was getting into the pantry. We were both unaware till we heard plastic crinkling then a spill. Yes a BIG spill of cheerios. It was too late for us to catch Brooke getting excited about her finding her own cheerios, getting the bag out of the box and then shaking the bag for them to come out. Here was the result……

Cake Balls Galore

My really great friend Jamie asked me to help her make cake balls for her dads 50th birthday. She wanted several different flavors so the best way to do this was to buy boxed cake and not do it from scratch. Plus this would save us tons of time! We decided on white cake, chocolate peanut butter cake, brownie, funfetti cake, red velvet and strawberry. Because we were making a TON of these I didn’t have time to set them up and take great shots of them so you will see messy shots but get the idea of how they turned out. Which was GREAT and defiantly CUTE BAKES! My favorite were the peanut butter cake balls. I mixed 1/2 frosting with half peanut butter, dipped them in chocolate melts and drizzled with peanut butter melts. Sooooo yummy!!!

The preperation!
