Well, it is summer time and Ham’s Orchard is OPEN!!! Brandon, Brooke and I met my mom and my cousin Anita to get some ice cream and go black berry picking. I have never been black berry picking so I was excited for all of us to do this together. It was quite warm and most of the good black berries had already been picked so we didn’t get to fill our bucket. We had a great time though and Brooke loved to carry the bucket for us. Once we picked them we had to hand them to her so she could put them in. This was her job and she loved it.She would follow us and say “more”. She did great, although a few did get the squish of Brooke’s hand before making into the bucket.

Tonight Brandon and I took Brooke swimming. Our neighborhood pool opened yesterday so Brooke and I hit it up yesterday with some friends and then went again tonight with daddy. She is so much fun in the pool. She loves to get on the lay out ledge and jump to us. She also loves to play in the kiddie pool. She is tall enough to walk all around it so its like her own little pool. Here are a few pictures of Brooke at the pool.

Today I decided to paint Brooke’s toes for the first time. She was pretty still throughout the process, so I think I did a pretty good job for trying to go fast and get her to not touch them. When I got done I said Brooke look at your toes, she said “pretty.” What a great and smart girl I have. Here is a picture of her toes, she only had a diaper on so that’s why you don’t see her full body, sorry no naked pictures here!

Today we had 2 parties to attend. One was our friend Olivia’s 1st birthday party. The other was our great friend Marc’s graduation party. Brooke had a ton of fun and enjoyed the cake very much! Sorry about the picture from the birthday party, it was taken by the iphone. My camera was in the car. The other cutie is Brooke’s friend Sam. How precious are they!
