What a weekend filled with water, swimming and water parks. Our church has this event every summer where we rent out a water park for a few hours and then have a baptism at the end of the party. This one is special because our family friend Christopher is getting baptized. We are so excited and very proud of this life changing decision he has made to follow Christ. Brooke loved going down the slides by herself, of course we caught her at the bottom, but some of the time she was able to stand up on her own at the end. She is beginning to become such a big girl! She also enjoyed playing with her friends in the water. We had such a great time with family and friends, we love summer!!!

Once we got back from the Great Wolfe Lodge we made our way to our friend Jen’s house for her birthday. She didn’t want presents, just a hang out, so she called it her Non birthday party. Her mom had a taco and sundae bar, which was so good! We all went swimming and had great time celebrating Jen’s birthday!!!

Brandon, Brooke and I stayed the night at Great Wolf Lodge on Friday night. Brandon had never been, and Brooke is older this time, so I was excited about going again. Saturday morning my mom came to the hotel, so while we were waiting on her we ate some breakfast and then played the magi quest game with our wands. Once my mom arrived we all went swimming at the water park. I sent Brooke down a slide and she did not like it at all the first time, but after the first time she LOVED it and continued to want to go down it. She also loved jumping over or getting hit by the waves in the wave pool. That afternoon Brooke make a stuffed penguin animal, got some ice cream, colored a t-shirt and played in the arcade. We had a blast, Brooke was so much fun to watch explore and try things on her own at the water park. Here are some pictures from our Great adventure!!!

Brandon, Brooke and I were staying the night at the Great Wolfe Lodge so my mom decided to come join us for dinner. We decided to take Brooke to the Rain Forest Cafe and then do some shopping before Nana went home and the rest of us went back to the hotel to crash for the night. Here we are at the cafe! Brooke absolutely loved the frog, she kept wanting to high five him and give him a hug. She is so cute, I love our baby girl!!!

Tonight we made our way to downtown Dallas to go see the circus with our friends Jamie, Bubba and Sadie. We first ate at Elfenix for some tasty Mexican food and then got to the arena about an hour early to do the pre-show. I wasn’t too sure how Brooke would react to the clowns since she loved the sesame street characters, but we found out pretty quickly that she didn’t care for them. During the pre-show, Brooke tried on a costume, watched an elephant paint, watched a magician and attempted a picture with a clown. During the show Brooke did AWESOME. She absolutely loved seeing the animals. During the show I thought it was quite funny how she reminded me of being like Brandon, smelling french fries and wanting some, and how she reminded me of myself wanting to hug the tigers. She paid attention the majority of the time and did great until she peed on me, lol. Her diaper got way full from all the water she had been drinking and when she was sitting on my lap it leaked. She then said I pee peed. It was funny, but now both of our pants were wet, lol. After the show we got Brooke a tiger cup as her souvenir from her first visit to the circus. She loves her new cup and loved her first experience at the circus. Here are some pictures from our Circus day….
