Today the kids and I went to the Gentle Zoo to feed some animals and just explore and have fun. Since it is summer time and a little warm they some of the animals put away and the air pillow was also deflated. I think I may have been a little more disappointed than the kids about the air pillow! Brooke and Luke loved seeing and feeding all the animals. Luke lost half of his feed bucket when the pig came up to him and scared him and Brooke was brave and let the Emu eat out of her bucket. Luke was a little cautious with the pigs and the turtles and took him a little while to warm up to them! Brooke loved every minute of being there and enjoyed every animal! When we went in to see the goats, one escaped and I had to run, catch it and carry it back to the pen. Meanwhile, Luke is just petting the other goats and Brooke is watching me from the turtle pen. Later she said, “Mom, I saw you catch that goat, good job.” We had a fun time together at the petting zoo and I love that my kids have a love for animals as I do!
