Well after a long day of being given the drip to begin contractions we had till 4:00 pm for my cervix to dilate to a 1 cm. At 12:30 it was a fingertip dilated and at 4:00 it was still at a fingertip dilation. My contractions never got painful and apparently not strong enough to change my cervix. Because of this they sent us home since my blood pressure was normal throughout the day and it was not a medical need for me to stay. But I got put on bed rest with bathroom privileges ONLY. So at 4 we left the hospital and now I am laying on my side till something happens naturally or Sunday comes and we go back to the hospital at midnight to start the induction process again.
