Baylor Homecoming 2011
I got us all up at 5:30am this morning to head to Waco for Baylor’s Homecoming. Even though I didn’t really want to get up when the alarm went off I knew what awaited me! I so badly wanted West Bakery, to see the Baylor Homecoming Parade, visit campus and of course eat lunch at Viteks. With all these things in mind 5:30 wasn’t so bad.
Brooke fell back asleep on the way down, which was great! We stopped in West first, got our breakfast and then made our way to the parade route. We watched the parade again from downtown, which I still have mixed feelings about, but it is less crowded than campus and you have plenty of room for chairs and room to catch candy!
For the parade, it was still pretty cold, so Brooke stayed on Daddy’s lap the entire time under the blanket. I can’t blame her, I would have been under there too, if I could of fit! Brooke loved the parade! She loved seeing the band, the floats, and getting candy!

After the parade we shopped some and then went and ate lunch at Viteks. It is now a rule if we are in Waco we have to eat here! This is place is amazing! Once we were full, we went to campus to visit the bears, shop and walk around campus some. We had a blast and I am sure glad getting up so early this morning was worth it. I love Baylor, SIC EM BEARS!

Looks like a fun day! Love all the Baylor apparel. I didn’t realize there are real bears on campus! crazy! Also, love your hat autumn!! 🙂
