For Brooke’s birthday today we met our parents at Napolis in downtown Forney for dinner. Brooke has been on a spaghetti kick, so we picked this restaurant knowing she would love to have a bowl full of spaghetti. She of course loved her spaghetti and ate pretty good. She was distracted some but with some guidance, ate great! Before we left for the restaurant, Mickey Mouse called Brooke to wish her a Happy 3rd Birthday. Brooke was speechless at first that Mickey Mouse called her, but then got upset when she tried to talk to Mickey and he didn’t respond to her. But she got to tell him bye and that seemed to fix the problem. Earlier that day Brooke and I made her birthday cake. She wanted a pink cake, so we made a white cake and died it pink. I got white icing and then colored some of it pink. She asked for polka dots on the cake, so of course she got those too! After dinner everyone came to our house for cake and to open her presents from Nana and Grandma and Papa. She loved us singing Happy Birthday to us and enjoyed blowing out the candles! At 8:00, Pooh Bear called to tell Brooke Good Night and again she loved that a Disney character was calling her. We had a wonderful time celebrating our sweet little girls 3rd birthday with our family. She is such a blessing to us and we love her dearly! I just can’t believe 3 years has gone by! Happy Birthday Brooke!
