Brandon had the day off, and I wanted to do something fun, so we decided to go to Fossil Rim. It has been years since I had been there, so I was excited to take our kids. I knew Brooke was going to love it and be so excited that animals would come up to our car. When we got there, we cleared the car seats from the back seat so that she had as much room to roam from one window to the other. She loved this!

Once we got our feed for the animals, we were on our way through the park and the first thing we saw were wildabeast. Brooke was so excited to see these because she knew they were from the Lion King. She was so interested in what each of the animals were and wanted to know what kind they were and what exactly they were called. Brandon had to look at the animal identification sheet so he could tell her. Several of the animals came really close for us to pet them. Even a few stuck their heads through our window.

Luke loved to watch the animals too. He would get a little squirmy, so we would switch him between me holding him and Brandon. He loved sitting in the drivers seat and “drive.” He thought he was so big! We had a great time and loved seeing all the animals up close and personal! I love spending time with my family and am so blessed we are able to enjoy and do fun things!
