Our little city has a gentle zoo that has farm animals to pet and feed. Brooke and Luke love going to visit this place and enjoy themselves every time we go. This time we went to see the animals but also to participate in their Easter egg hunt. This would be Luke’s real first Easter egg hunt since last year he was only a month old.  He loved picking up the eggs! He wanted to open them right when he picked them up though. Brooke had a great time and filled her basket really fast! We had a great time and got lots of eggs.

The best part for Brooke was the baby pigs. They had 3 little piglets you could pet and feed. These little pigs would come over to Brooke and she would scratch their backs. The first little pig, feel down and then fell asleep when Brooke did this. It was so funny. Then a second pig came over and she scratched him and it did the same thing. She loved it and we had to come back to the piglet cage several times. Each time she scratched them and they began to take a nap. It was so cute. Luke loved these little pigs too! I think both my kids are animal lovers!
