4th of July Celebration
Our city has a community event for the city to come out and play games, do all sorts of activities and then watch fireworks. We can always see the fireworks from our house so we have never gone to the park for the event. This year I wanted to go to see what all they had to offer! I was quite impressed and we all had so much fun! We got to all ride a little train around part of the park, Brooke got to jump on a trampoline that made her go super high. I thought she was going to be scared, and at first she wasn’t too sure, but then after the first time of going pretty high, she loved it! We met up with a few of Brooke’s friends and just had a great time over at the park. We then walked back to our house to watch the fireworks. They were beautiful and Luke finds them amazing! He just sat on my lap and watched the entire time! My mom came over to join us and watch the fireworks, so we had a great night spending time as a family and celebrating the 4th of July!
