This is Brooke’s last year to do go to Mother’s Day out before starting Kindergarten. I can’t believe how fast time has gone by and my baby girl is almost ready to start school, WHAT?!?!?!?! Before we left for school, I of course had to take first day of school pictures outside. Brooke cracks me up and likes to pose herself, not sure where she gets it from, lol! She was very excited about going to her new school and having some of her friends in her class. We met up with a few friends for donuts then went to school! Brooke was doing great until it was time for me to leave. She began to cry and didn’t want to me to leave, which broke my heart but I knew once I left and she began to play she would have a great time! I stayed for a few minutes, hugged and kissed her then walked away heart broken. I called the director 30 minutes later to check on her and she was doing great! All smiles!!! When I picked her up she was so excited to see me, which always makes me smile! She said she had a great day and wanted to come back! She also told me that they would not let her take off her shoes. She was not too happy about that. I explained that at Big Girl school you have to keep your shoes on, so this was good that she was learning this now and not later! My little girl is growing up and it’s going too fast for this Mommy!
