Disney | Day 7
We woke up and Luke is feeling much better and is back to normal! Thankfully, whatever he had only lasted 8-12 hours! Today we started off at Magic Kingdom. This was our last full day and so we wanted to see a few more characters and just spend more time at Magic Kingdom. I really don’t think you could ever spend too much time there, it’s just so magical! Nana and Brooke rode Splash Mountain, we all rode Buzz Light year and then got to meet him too!
We went over to meet Goofy, Donald, Daisy and Minnie at the Storybook Circus. The line was so short here, that we got great time with the characters! After you meet the characters, you get to go through a tent with lots of merchandise. I knew this is where I wanted to get Luke’s Mickey ears. So we got his Mickey ears and tried on a few hats while we waited! We then rode the train around the park. I don’t remember the last time I rode the train, so I was looking forward to it and I knew the kids would love it as well!
Once we got off the train, it was time to grab some lunch. I wanted to try this chicken in a waffle sandwich but everyone else wanted something different. So while they ordered and sat down, I ran and got my sandwich. While I was gone, Brooke was chosen to be Deputy of the Day in Frontier land. When I got back they said there was a surprise coming and we all were shocked to learn this was a huge deal! They had us all go to the center of the restaurant and Brooke had to swear not to spit in front of women or children and other silly things. She was then paraded through the restaurant with yelling and bells ringing loudly out to the main street of Frontier Land. Here they announced her to everyone and yelled and rang bells again. Brooke was a little shocked during this but did great! They gave her a badge, hat and certificate!
We then met a few more princess’s, danced at a street party and just enjoyed our time at Magic Kingdom. It was getting late and so my mom decided to go back to the hotel and Brandon, the kids and I went over to Hollywood Studios! I wanted to see all the Christmas lights there and experience that with them. The lights were stunning and I am glad that we got to see them!
