Mesquite Rodeo!
My mom got Rodeo suite tickets again, so we had the whole family and my great friend Rikki come along with us! I love getting suite tickets, especially this suite, because we were right over the bull pen and enjoyed more comfortable seats and some good BBQ! Before we went, Brandon and I showed Brooke some video of Mutton Bustin. We showed her to ask if she would do this at the rodeo. She said yes and was super excited to see if her name would be drawn for this adventure! We got there, put her name down and sure enough she got picked! She got to be number 5 and could not wait to ride the sheep!
Brandon and I went down there with her to watch and to take pictures/video! Luke and the rest of family watched from above and we could hear Luke constantly yelling the words Daddy, Mommy or Go. He was so excited and loved the rodeo! Brooke did awesome but she didn’t last too long! When she ran over to me after her ride, I said you did awesome! Then I asked her what happened and why she didn’t hold on longer. She then said, “That thing almost broke my nose.” She cracks me up and she just keeps talking. She said “That thing was fast, can I do it again?” I was so glad that even though she said she got hurt she had a great time and wanted to do it again! She received a trophy, which just made her night! The man passing out the trophies called her name and then said where is Brooke’s mom. I was a little worried as to why he was asking for me when he asked for no other mom. He then gave me the sweetest complement, hE said Brooke is just a sweetheart! This comment just made my night!
We had such a great time with our family at the Rodeo and Brooke is defiantly looking forward to going back to give Mutton Bustin another go! At the end of the rodeo she came up to me and said she forgot to wrap her legs around his belly and she would do that next time! Love this girl! Some pictures are better than others because I used my phone for some and then our camera for the others!
