4th of July
We really didn’t have nay plans for the 4th, so today we decided to see where fireworks were being shot off and go there! We saw that Fair Park was having fireworks and that the midway would be open. We thought this would be fun for the kids and would be a good fireworks show as well. We got to the fair and we all rode the Texas Star. This was Brooke and Luke’s first time to ride the “big Ferris Wheel.” While we were in the midway, we ran into some of our friends who now live in Louisiana, so it was so great to see them!
Luke was finally tall enough to ride a few kiddie rides and he was so excited! Brooke is now tall enough to ride some of the big kid rides, so her and Brandon rode a fast spinning one. I think they both got off dizzy. After some rides, we went back to our truck and watched the fireworks in the parking lot. The show was great and the kids enjoyed seeing fireworks again! We had a great 4th!
