Today, Brooke, Luke and 13 of their friends came to join us for Baker’s in Training at Panera Bread. I had to pick a date and sign up pretty early in the summer so I was excited that the day had finally come! The kids all got aprons and chef hats and got to decorate a cookie. After the cookie, they split up into two teams and took a tour in the back where the bread is made. Once they got back to their table, they each got 2 chunks of dough to shape how they wanted and then those got baked. When they were done baking,m they got to choose one to keep for themselves and then had one to donate to Helping Hands. The kids loved their bakers training!
