Brooke’s elementary school is having a float in the Unity Bowl parade this year. They asked for volunteers at the PTO meeting, so I signed Brandon and I up to help with it. We met a couple of times to design and start decorating the boat and then the morning of the parade we put it all together. The school’s theme this year is “Learning is a Treasure.” So we made our float a pirate ship and we all dressed like pirates! Our float ended up winning 3rd place! Brandon brought our dog Baymax and they walked the entire parade route. Everyone seemed to love Baymax! The kids loved throwing out candy and seeing their friends at the parade! We had such a great time!
