Daingerfield Camping Trip
We went to Daingerfield State Park to go camping. I am pretty sure this is my favorite camp ground. The fall colors, the trails, the canoe and paddle boat rentals, the playground and the campsites, I just love! Our friends, The Whites, went with us and we had such a great time with them! When we got there Saturday morning, the kids, Sierra and I went down to the boat house for a thanksgiving craft. The kids gathered leaves and made turkeys from the leaves they gathered. We then went back to the campsite for lunch and s’mores. After lunch, we went back to the lake, did some fishing, rented a canoe and a paddle boat. Brandon, Nate and Cooper almost sank the canoe and all got soaking wet, but they figured it out and had a fun time canoeing! Just being outdoors is so much fun and watching the kids explore and have a great time together was amazing! WE even sang around the campfire and had many many laughs along with great campfire food Brandon cooked for us!
