Summer is about to be over and school will be starting back up in a week and a half. I absolutely love summer time and the time I get to spend with my kids. This school year Brooke will be going into the fourth grade and Luke will be going into first grade. Time flies by and so do grade levels, it seems like yesterday I was walking Brooke into kindergarten! I told the kids I wanted to take back to school pictures and they did so great. I would pose them and then they would pose themselves. Luke had his own ideas for his pictures, Brooke had ideas for herself but the sweetest ones were the ones of them together. They posed themselves and Luke even asked Brooke to put her arms around him. Luke even came up with the one where they are holding hands walking on the side walk. They aren’t always this sweet to each other but when they are it melts my heart. They are excited for this upcoming school year and I pray that each of them learns, has fun and continues to grow in the Lord.
