Christmas Cookie Exchange
Tonight, we had some of our friends over for dinner, games and a cookie exchange. The kids made candy cane ornaments and also got to play our game. I wrapped all sorts of prizes in plastic wrap and each person would unwrap it until the person next to them rolled doubles, they then passed the ball of goodies to the next person to unwrap. If a prize came out of the wrapping, it was theirs to keep! It was super fun and everyone really seemed to enjoy it. After we ate dinner, played our game, it was then time for the cookie exchange. It was more of a contest and we just exchanged the recipes. We had 6 different cookies to try and then vote for our favorite. We had hot chocolate cookies, abracadabra cookies, raspberry thumbprint cookies, peanut butter cup cookies and cracker cookies. They all were amazing, but the winner was a tie with the hot chocolate cookie I made and Amy’s whoopie pie cookies. So the Fowler’s won the prize! I also made gingerbread men and made a family of gingerbread for each family that was there to take home with them! We had a great time with our friends and ended the night playing some taboo and catch phrase.
