Today, my mom, the kids, Addison and I all went down to Fair Park for Taste of Dallas. We hadn’t been in a couple of years so it was nice to go back. The kids had a great time getting free stuff, trying samples of foods, playing in the kids zone and petting animals! We all got to try Carlo’s bakery for the first time too and it was delicious! We also got to meet Buddy’s sister, Grace! She was super sweet and jumped in the picture with the kids! I think the kids loved the petting zoo the most because we went back several times to see the animals! All the kids also climbed the rock wall. Brooke cried because she was scared but tried several times and did better each time. Luke was a little too small but made it up the wall some! At the end of they day Rock Climbing was all they talked about!

After Taste of Dallas, we went back to Forney for the first annual BBQ cook off. Addison’s dad had a team and so Brandon was there hanging out with them while we went to Taste of Dallas. Brandon also got to judge the pulled pork section of the contest! Later that night, they announced the winners for all the categories and Brent’s team won 5th place in the bean category! We had a long day but before heading home, we met Janie and Miller for dinner where Luke crashed mid way through dinner!
