Firecrackers

Well the 4th of July is right around the corner and so we had to make a craft to celebrate. I decided to make little homemade firecrackers. They turned out so cute and Brooke loved to make them.

To make this fun craft all you need is a few items! The body of the firecracker is made from a empty can food jar. Use a dowel rod for the wick and ribbon for the spark! The only other thing you need is paint and a screwdriver and hammer!

Happy 4th of July and Happy crafting!

Most of the matierals.

First paint your can white

putting your hand inside the can while you paint works great!

Once they are painted white, then it's time to add color!

Brooke's Firecracker!

Mommy's Firecracker.

Once they are dry, get a Phillips head screw driver and hammer a hole in the top of the can. Also, paint your dowel rod white. Once the dowel rod is dry, insert into the can and tie ribbon to the top of the firecracker. Now you are ready to display them!
