Brandon was off today so we thought it would be the best time for us to go to the fair. It was a lot busier than we had expected but we still had a great time. When we pulled in to park, Brooke said she was so excited. We told her she would get to ride a few rides and see animals. So the mention of animals always makes this girl happy!

We got there around lunch time so of course had to get ourselves a corny dog! Brandon and Brooke played some football at a NFL challenge booth they had. Brooke told us she wanted to dance so we let her up on the stage to dance and she just froze. They gave her stickers though and she looked so cute!

We also went through the kids farm, where they get an apron, some feed to feed the fake animals and pick and plant vegetables. Brooke had a blast here.

We also of course had to stop at the petting zoo. We bought a small cup of food, which was a good thing because these animals were not eating. She got to pet a few and was excited about that. Towards the end though we spent some time looking and petting the zebra. A little pulled Brooke’s hand away, he was trying to make sure she didn’t get bit but it hurt Brooke’s feelings and the tears began to come. We decided to leave the petting zoo area and sadly it took us awhile to calm her down. Poor thing.

Well the mention of rides got her happy again so we made our way to the midway and she rode a few rides. She is getting to be such a big girl, it makes me remember just how fast time does go by and to love every moment. We had such a great time and spending the day at the fair, just us 3, was wonderful!
