Arboretum | Chihuly
My mom, the kids and I decided to go to the arboretum today and have a picnic! I absolutely love picnics and I think the arboretum is beautiful, so this was a great combination. They are show casing some art right now called Chihuly. This blown glass art is beautiful and really cool to see.
We went to whole foods first to get our picnic munchies. Once we got to the Arboretum it was pretty cool outside, so I was excited for a nice trip. That only last for a half an hour because it began to sprinkle and then the heat and humidity turned on. When that happened we decided it was time to get under a tree in the shade and have our picnic. Under the tree was perfect and made me wish we had huge trees in our back yard. We had a great time and a delicious picnic!!
