Luke is now 8 months old and is just a happy, down to earth, laid back and smiley baby! Since he doesn’t go to the doctor every month, I measure and weigh him at home. This month when I did this, I noticed he lost 2 ounces and stayed at the same height. I talked to Brandon and we decided to talk to his pediatrician just to make sure everything was ok, or what we needed to do differently. They recommended, increasing his food and milk intake and will be re-weighed at 9 months.

Luke is moving everywhere. He crawls all over the place, is standing with support, and loves to climb over anything he can. He is such a sweet boy. Every morning he hugs me when I pick him up out of his crib. He loves to give hugs, especially to mommy, daddy, Brooke and stuffed animals. He loves to eat baby food, but prefers finger foods so much more. When anyone else is eating, he thinks he should be too! He is babbling quite a bit now, saying, dada, yaya, gaga, hi, yeah, and all sorts of other babbling combinations. His favorite game is peek a boo and he absolutely loves to play with anything he can put in his mouth, balls and toys that makes noise.

Luke is very much so a mommy’s boy, and this makes me so happy. Any time he sees me he gets so excited, his face lights up and wants me to hold him. My heart melts every time. He is such a sweet boy and I just can’t believe 8 months have gone by. We love you sweet Luke!
