Camping | Dangerfield State Park

We love to camping! It is such a great time for us to spend quality family time together. We love just sitting by the fire, eating Daddy’s amazing campfire food, taking hikes and just playing outside. This time we rented a canoe and had a blast out on the lake just looking around at nature and then did a little bit of fishing. Luke apparently thought it was very relaxing because he fell asleep 5 minutes into the riding! Brooke liked the canoe, but after about 30 minutes into she was ready to get back to the campsite. I think if she had a paddle things would have been different. Brooke did find some butterflies after we got done canoeing and loved trying to catch them. Luke defiantly loved camping this year because he got to be Mr. Independent and roam and do his own thing. He really thinks he is a big boy now and tries his hardest to stay up with Brooke. We had such a great time! The only bummer was that we forgot our camera, so I was stuck with not so great photos on my phone. We were thankful for very cool weather and a peaceful and wonderful family camping trip!
