Dallas Zoo
When we woke up this morning, Brooke told me “Let’s go to the zoo!” We didn’t have plans and it was still early, so we got ready and headed to the zoo! I knew it was going to be a hot day so I wanted to get there sooner than later! We got there and headed straight for the monorail. I haven’t rode the monorail with both kids before so I was looking forward to it! I knew they both would love the “train” and the chance to see animals from above! After we saw some animals and spent a couple hours at the zoo, it was getting a little too hot and time for lunch, so we finished our trip with a ride on the carousel. I think this might have been Luke’s favorite part! He loves riding these and hates getting off! We had a great spur of the moment trip to the zoo and will be going again soon, I’m sure!
