Dallas Aquarium

Although it was rainy, I still wanted to get out and do something. I haven’t been to the Dallas Aquarium in years and thought it would be fun to take the kids there today. I loved this aquarium so much because it is were I volunteered as a teenager. Even though it was pretty crappy back then, it was my favorite. It is where I learned, got hands on experience and began to fall in love with sea animals even more. Going back today brought back so many memories and how much I love sea animals. Now I get to share that with my own kids and I just love it.

They have added some new exhibits and have redone a lot, so I loved going back and seeing how everything changed! Brooke, Luke and I loved the sharks and the sting rays the best. Brooke wanted to feed the sting rays, which ended up with me doing it, but at least she was brave and touched them. Luke was watching till they started splashing and all came swarming over to where we were, since we had food. He was off that rock faster than I could blink. He wanted no part in the sting rays up close. They both loved all the fish and exploring at the Dallas Aquarium!

I guess they will be just as crazy about the aquarium, Sea World and any other place with animals as you were.
Good tradition to pass down!!!
