I bought a kit from the store for Brooke and Luke to decorate a gingerbread house. I told Brooke that we weren’t going to build it till we got back from our trip to Disney World. She asked a few more times before the trip, but my answer was still the same, wait till after our trip. I kid you not, when Papa picked us up from the airport, we weren’t even in the car 10 minutes and she asked if we could do the gingerbread house when we got home. It was already past 11pm at this point! I could not believe she remembered, much less right when we landed and got “home.” So finally we are now decorating our gingerbread house and she is SUPER excited! Luke was taking a nap during most of the making, then joined in towards the end! He loved it too, but I had to keep telling him not to eat the candy!
