Fredericksburg

I wanted to go on a trip with our family so I planned a weekend trip to Fredericksburg Texas. Brandon, Brooke, Nana, Grandma, Papa and I left Friday after everyone got off work and packed into Grandma’s suburban. On the way to Fredericksburg we had to make a pit stop at the West bakery, it was something we just could not pass up. We arrived around midnight and went straight to bed. The next morning we woke up ate breakfast downstairs at our hotel and then made our way to the Trade Days. After trade days, we grabbed some lunch at Wheelers restaurant. I had some amazing chili and a huge piece of cornbread topped with jalapenos and cheese. After lunch Brandon and Brooke went back to the hotel for a nap, while the rest of us shopped the town. This town is so cute and the people are so incredibly nice and warm. The window displays were so very cute. Check out our Krauska Photography Blog for detailed pictures of the town. While shopping we took a break for some pie at the pie factory and then continued on with our shopping. Once Brandon woke up I took him to the pie factory and then we did a little shopping our selves before heading back to the hotel to join everyone else. We ate dinner at Hondo’s, restaurant known for their live music, but we didn’t stay around for that. Later that night Brooke stayed with Nana while Brandon, Grandma, Papa and I went out to Luckenback Texas to dance and listen to good ole country music. Sunday we did some more shopping and then made our way to Driftwood to eat at Salt Licks BBQ. The BBQ here was so good and very tasty. We had a great time on our little vacation. It was so nice to spend time with our family, we are blessed to have such a wonderful one!
