Luke isn’t into watching movies or t.v. but whenever Brooke would watch Sesame Street he would always watch it when Cookie Monster came on. Since he liked seeing Cookie Monster, I thought this would be a cute theme for his party. I made chocolate chip cookies with blue m&m’s, had blue jello, blue juice, blue popcorn and cookie bags for thank you gifts. I loved decorating and putting his party together. I also made 2 cookie monster cakes. One for Luke and one for all the other guests! Luke wasn’t too sure what to do with the cake. He was more fascinated that there was icing all over his hands than eating it. He did get some in his mouth but again wasn’t that interested! We had a great time celebrating our sweet Luke’s first birthday!
