A day at the Zoo
Brooke, Luke and I went to the zoo today. We pulled up to find only 8 other cars in the parking lot! The weather was great and with very few cars I knew this would be a great day at the zoo. We literally walked around the entire zoo looking at all the animals and barley seeing anyone else. It was perfect and a great way to spend some time with just me and the kids!
After we tried to feed the giraffes, that were not interested in our food, we went to the children’s zoo. Here you can feed the birds and the first time Brooke did this she was so scared. This would be Luke’s first time to feed the birds so I wasn’t sure how he would respond. He did great and in fact tried to grab/hold every bird that ate off his stick! He would get mad wen they would fly away and not let him touch them! Brooke loved every minute of it and I believe we feed the birds 8 sticks of food! They also got to ride the pony. Both of my kids of course loved this and had a blast! The train ride and the carousel were hits too!
