Brooke’s 5th Birthday Party

Brooke is turning 5, so when I asked her what kind of party she wanted, she said she wanted it at a bounce house place. This would be Brooke’s first party that was not held at our house. It was a little sad for me, but Brooke loved her party and it made things a lot easier for me! I did however forget the cake and the camera that Brandon had to run back to the house to get! Good thing the party location was close to our house! The kids got to jump and bounce for an hour and half then have cake and watch Brooke open presents. All the kids had such a great time and so did Brandon and I bouncing with them! We are blessed to have such great family and friends. Having them celebrate Brooke with us means so much to us! I still can’t believe my baby girl is about to be 5!

My Sweet Baby Girl Brooke,
I can not believe you are turning 5 years old. Time has gone by so fast, but I have cherished every minute with you. When I got to see you and hold you for the first time 5 years ago, my whole world changed. You are my little girl and no matter how big you get you will always be that. I will always want to hold, hug, kiss, snuggle and love on you. You are such a joy to me and to our family. I look back at pictures and videos of when you were a baby and just think how lucky I am to be your mommy. You make me smile and laugh every single day. I can not tell you how much I love spending time with you. You have become such a precious little girl, watching you grow up has been nothing but a blessing. You are so smart, beautiful, funny, bossy, sensitive, kind, loving, helpful, witty and creative! My time with you is so special and I just wanted you to remember some of the things I love doing with you!
Mommy loves:
When you just simply tell me “I love you”
To snuggle with you
To wake up with you standing next to my bed saying, Mommy, I am awake, the sun is up!
When you come snuggle in bed with me
When we watch movies together
When we dance to music or even if music isn’t playing
To play games with you
To make crafts, color and draw with you
To read books to you
When you ask me to read you a bible story or your daily devotion
Having mommy daughter dates
To hear you laugh
That you show that you still need me and want me to help you do things still
That you don’t want me to leave you and you always want to be with me
To hold and rock you to sleep, even if it is not very often
That you appreciate and get excited about simple things
When you and Luke play together
When you go to Luke’s room and get him out of his bed
When you hug your Daddy and kiss him every time you leave or when he comes home
Baking and cooking with you
Baby girl, there is so much I love about you and this list could go on forever and ever. You are just so special to me and I love you so very much. These past 5 years have been amazing and I look forward to many, many more years watching you become the girl and then woman God has created for you to become. You make me so proud and I love you so very much. Happy 5th Birthday Baby girl!

Love,
Mommy
