It was such a beautiful day outside, I just had to take the kids to the park! We drove up to the park and there was so many people there. I knew it was a nice day but there were kids everywhere! I then realized it was a holiday for the kids and they were out of school! Although it was crowded, the kids had a great time. Luke loved to swing and Brooke was able to go 2-3 bars by herself on the monkey bars. She was so proud of herself and I was proud of her as well! We played for about an hour and then I thought it would be great to go spend some time with the horses.

I usually do not go to the barn alone with both kids to work the horses, but today I had my mind set that I could do it! Going to the barn just to visit the horses is one thing, but working the horses with both kids by myself is another story! I had Luke in the stroller, Brooke as my helper and together we groomed and worked June! Brooke really enjoyed getting to walk June all by herself after June’s workout. Luke really enjoyed just watching us, which I was so thankful for! Johnny was out in the pasture where Luke was so I wasn’t sure how that was going to go. But, everything went perfectly and we had a great time at the park and the barn!
