Brooke and Luke must have been super excited for Easter because Luke woke up at 6:30am and Brooke was right behind him at 6:45am. Luke is my early riser but Brooke likes to sleep in so she apparently was excited! They came down stairs and got their baskets the bunny left for them at the door. After the looked through those, they went outside in the front yard for their egg hunt, yes in their pajamas! They had such a great time finding eggs in our yard. Luke even did the hunt really well. I guess after a few egg hunts, he got the hang of it!

We then got ready for church, coordinating colors of course then went to service. After service Brooke was so excited to tell us about what she learned about Jesus. After church we did Easter lunch a little different this year. We typically go to Grandma and Papa’s house but this year we went to White Rock Lake for a picnic. The weather was great and we had such a great time at the park.

Brandon and Tony did some fishing, broke cascarones over each others heads, all of us played yard games, we threw a Frisbee a few times till Brooke threw it in the lake on accident and we all just had fun being outside! The picnic was so fun and spending time outside and together as a family was awesome! We had a blessed and great Easter!
