Tiger Creek

Today, My mom, the kids and I went out to Tyler to a antique sale then decided to just do some fun things around Tyler while we were there. We found a place that was a Tiger Sanctuary and so we decided that would be fun to go and visit. While we were driving there, we saw a cute little bakery and stopped by to see what it was like. They had pound cakes and they tasted pretty good. We got a small 4 pack and shared them all!

Once we got to Tiger Creek, we joined in on a tour and began to see all of their cats. It was very cool to see all the different type of Tigers they had. It also shocked me as to how most of these tigers were peoples pets who either no longer wanted them or no longer could take care of them. I mean really people, a pet tiger! Anyways. At least this place lets them live their life out and seem to be well taken care of.

Brooke and Luke loved seeing all the cats and exploring Tiger Creek. Brooke really enjoyed taking pictures herself with a small handheld camera I had brought! Luke saw a tiger going to the bathroom and repeatedly said “Tiger, pee pee.” At least he knew what he was doing, I guess. We really enjoyed our time here at Tiger Creek! After we were done, both kids got to buy a couple toys. I was against them buying yet another stuffed animal, but I had a hard time saying no, since I knew the money would go towards the Tigers. Plus, what is one more going to really do. It made the kids happy!!!

Luke liked the statues because he could touch them. He wanted to pet a Tiger so bad!
