This is day two of our Thanksgiving vacation and we chose the Dallas Arboretum to visit today. We had our friends the Blair’s come along with us and our day was filled with fun, laughter and some yelling of course. Our kids love to play together and their friendship is so fun to watch. Luke and Beau are hilarious together, Brooke and Brinley have such a sweet friendship and Parker is the mom to all of them! I truly enjoy the time I get to spend with them and the time my kids get with them as well.

We walked around and looked at all the 12 days of Christmas, played in the grass, ate snacks and just had a great time. The petting zoo was there as well, so the kids of course loved going in there to pet and hold a few animals. All the kids also got their faces painted. I have known that they do face painting but the line is always so long I never wait plus I really am not a huge fan of face painting, to be honest. Since all the kids wanted to get their faces painted, I put aside my silly reasons and let them get their faces painted. Brooke chose a beautiful butterfly and Luke chose Spider Man. Their faces looked so cool that it made me feel bad that I never let them get them done before. We had such a wonderful day with our friends at the Arboretum and look forward to the rest of our Thanksgiving break!
