Brooke had the day off from school and the kids have been asking to go to the zoo, so we thought today would be the perfect day to go! We got there right when it opened and there was hardly anyone there. Once some time passed, it got really busy so I was thankful we got there early. Even though we have fed the birds so many times, this is one of their favorite things to do. Luke was the bravest he has ever been in there and had the bird on his arm all by himself. He wants to pet the birds so bad and then gets mad when they try and bite him. Brooke loves a bird named Curtis in the feeding area. He is super friendly and she always wants to see him when we are there. We couldn’t find him and so she asked the zoo keeper where Curtis was. She answered, I am not too sure. Not 2 seconds later, Curtis landed on Brooke’s head! It was so funny and Brooke loved it! We had such a great time at the zoo and especially loved that Daddy got to come too!
