Brandon was going fishing today, so I decided we should do something fun too. I found out about a air show in Waco and thought the kids would love seeing airplanes and sky divers doing all sorts of tricks. I had never been to an air show, so we were not prepared when we got there. We didn’t bring chairs, umbrellas to block the sun or even a hat to wear. Needless to say, it was hot that day and being out on the air strip it got even hotter. My mom went with us and thankfully found 2 umbrellas to buy. If it weren’t for these umbrellas we would not have made it as long as we did. We watched the planes for 2 hours and they were quite impressive. The kids, my mom and I were getting hot, sweating and it just became miserable to be outside, so we decided to call it a day at the air show. We then went into Waco to do some shopping and to eat lunch. We had such a great little day trip to Waco!
