Our Christmas started early in the morning, when Brooke came down stairs and into to our bedroom to wake us up! She was so excited to open her presents and get Christmas started. Luke was still asleep, which is not typical because he is usually the first one up. Brandon went and woke him up and they both opened their bags to see what Santa had brought them! Santa brought Brooke an American Girl Doll and a Cinderella costume. Luke got roller skates and a “real” football from Santa. They were both so excited and could not wait to open the rest of the presents that were under the tree! Our family arrived between 9 and 10, so they just opened presents as each one arrived. They thought this was pretty cool! They also loved giving everyone their gifts! Some of our friends from our CG came over as well. Brooke and Luke loved having them over because they then weren’t they only kids! They were so excited to have other kids to play with on Christmas. We had a fabulous lunch, Brandon smoked a turkey and it was amazing! We then did a group picture and of course I had to do a funny one, so we all wore reindeer antlers! We are so blessed by the Lord and our Christmas was wonderful, we have a lot to be thankful for!
