Waco Day Trip

Today is the first day of Spring break so we loaded up the car and brought along Nana, Misty, Carley and Cutler along with us to Waco! I wanted to take the kids back to the Mayborn Museum in Waco and also wanted to stop by and see the newly opened Silos, so we made a day trip out of it. We left early this morning, stopped at the Czech bakery in West, grabbed breakfast and then made our way to Baylor’s campus. It is almost impossible for me to go to Waco and NOT go to campus. I love having my kids on Baylor’s campus and showing them around and telling them fun stories about my time there! After we visited campus, we went to the Mayborn and had such a great time exploring.

We then went to Fazoli’s for lunch. This was one of my favorite cheap spots to eat when I was in college. I went so much, that the manager knew me by name. When we went today, Mr. Pryor was there and I got to see him again and he got to meet my kids! So this made the trip even more special! After lunch, we went over to the Silo’s, waited in line and then got to shop. We didn’t buy anything but the shop was super cute and decorated perfectly! We had an amazing time in Waco and had such a fun day spending it with Nana and the Arden’s!
