My mom and I took the kids to Waco and then San Antonio for a little getaway! Brandon had to stay home and work so we missed him being with us! Our first stop was Baylor of course. We went and saw the bears and then shopped at the book store. Luke picked his back pack for Kindergarten and it’s a Baylor back pack! I am so excited that is what he picked but I am not too sure what his Daddy will think! After Waco we stopped in Gruene Texas. We had never been here before so it was fun to explore. We then made our way towards San Antonio and stopped at the Snake Farm. They had snakes but lots of other animals as well. The kids loved this place except Brooke wasn’t too fond of the goats since she recently got “attacked” by one a few weeks ago. The kids also did gem mining at the snake farm and got lots of cool looking rocks. I think this was their most favorite part! After a fun time at the snake farm, we made our way to San Antonio and ate down at the River Walk. We are excited to be in San Antonio and spend a couple days here!
