Today is the first day of school and the first day that both Brooke and Luke are in Elementary school together. Before school we took some pictures, had pancakes for breakfast and then made our way up to the school. I have this cute board and totally forgot to put how tall Brooke was on it. Luke is starting Kindergarten and Brooke is going into the third grade. They are excited and a little nervous. I am so glad that Luke has Mrs. Shaw because he knows her and feels comfortable with her. I think this helped him on his first day because there were no tears and he was fine with us leaving. Brooke has Mrs. Cottongame and is so excited to have her. She too is a little nervous because she doesn’t know what to expect but I know she will do great! I didn’t cry at drop off, which I think surprised Brandon. Since Luke didn’t cry, that helped me more with the transition of starting school. I hope they have a great first day and I can’t wait to hear how it went for them both!
