Peach Cobbler
On Thursday my mom and some friends went out to Hams Orchard to eat lunch, ice cream and bring home some peaches. I was not too sure about buying them because they were very hard, but I went ahead and took the risk and bought a large bag of peaches. I kept them in a brown bag for a few days to ripen more and today they got made into a cobbler. This recipe is very easy and doesn’t take long at all.
Crust: 1 package of Refrigerated Pie Crust
Cobbler Ingredients:
- Peaches – varies on the size pan you use, in the 12×9 pan I used 12 peaches
- 2 cups Sugar
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- Pinch of Salt
- Flour
- 2 teaspoons or so of Cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon of Miracle Whip
Directions:
- Lay one pie crust out on flour – roll out and place in the bottom of the pan
- Pour peaches on top of dough, sprinkle withe flour, add sugar, cinnamon, salt
- Top the mixture with pieces of butter
- Roll out 2nd dough on flour surface – cut or do a solid layer of dough ( if you do a sheet of dough in top – slit it on top, making an X)
- Brush on a thin layer of miracle whip on top of the dough and then sprinkle with sugar
- Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes
- Eat and enjoy you “Cute Bake Peach Cobbler”
