Play Set

I have wanted a play set for Brooke for awhile and when we mentioned it to PaPa, he said he would help. On Saturday, Daddy and Papa started building the play set. I am super excited and can’t wait for Brooke to be able to play on it, oh and me too of course! Luke even has a swing so it will be fun for our whole family! They finished on Sunday and we got got to swing. Brooke loves the swing and her slide. Luke seems to love his swing too! He had a hard time staying awake in it. Yeah for a new play set!!

Moon Sand

I have always seen Moon Sand for sale at a couple of stores but have never bought it. I came across this recipe on pinterest and had to try it. It is 8 cups flour and 1 cup baby oil. I only had 4 ounce of baby oil so I just cut the recipe in half. Brooke absolutely loves it and it truly does work like sand. It is soft and also makes you smell good!!

Easter House

Today Brandon, Brooke and I did a little Easter craft together. Brooke was so excited to decorate this Easter house. She loved decorating and loved having Mommy and Daddy help her. Her house turned out great and then Daddy put her house so that it was displayed in the case.

Valentine’s Crafts

Brooke made 2 crafts for Valentine’s. One we made a few weeks before and the other craft she made the day before. The one she made a few weeks before Valentine’s Day we used in some of her Valentine’s pictures. You get a toilet paper roll and shape it into a heart. This craft was super easy, cheap and Brooke loved it. All you do is dip the toilet paper roll in paint and then you have yourself a heart stamp!

Brooke's artwork!

Supplies: Paint, Toilet Paper roll bent in the shape of a heart!

I got a cute idea from a friend, so we had to make a second Valentine Day craft! I love crafts that have Brooke’s hand and finger prints. It just reminds me of how little she is/was. It truly marks and records her growth! I love them! At the bottom of this craft I had her write her name. She needed some help with a few of the letters, but for the most part she did it on her own!

Brooke's tree! The hearts are her thumb prints.

so proud of her artwork!

The Fish Store

Brandon likes to shop at Bass Pro, and Brooke loves to go with her daddy. Brooke calls Bass Pro the fish store. Every time we go, we have to go look at the fish. Today we went because Brandon wanted a few new lures. When we went down to see the fish, they had a cookie decorating activity for the kids. Brooke loved decorating the cookies. She made one for Daddy and one for herself. I asked where mine was and she told me I could share with Daddy. I guess since it was Daddy’s store, he got the cookie! Thankfully she said we could share!
